Ramsay & Chalmers were early adopters of BIM and having now gained significant experience, operate within the UK BIM Framework. Through our skilled and committed team, we encourage the implementation of BIM and the common data environment (CDE) and fully support collaborative working to achieve efficiently designed, constructed & managed projects.
We use BIM extensively, including on major projects for our public sector clients. We anticipate that BIM will also become more commonplace on private developments in the near future and are well-positioned as the construction industry continues to evolve.
We use an array of 3D modelling and analysis software for our Civil and Structural Engineer projects including Autodesk Revit, Tekla Structures and Civils 3D along with Navisworks for integrating third-party models. We continue to provide our team with the appropriate software, hardware, training and support to develop our BIM capabilities
