Ramsay & Chalmers were early adopters of BIM and, having gained significant experience, operate within the IMI Framework. Through our skilled and committed team, we promote the implementation of BIM and the common data environment, and support collaborative working to achieve efficiently designed, constructed and managed projects.
We use BIM extensively, including on major projects for public sector clients. We anticipate that BIM will become more common on private developments and are well positioned as the construction industry continues to evolve.
We use a range of 3D modelling and analysis software for civil and structural engineering projects, including Autodesk Revit, Tekla Structural Designer and Civil 3D, together with Navisworks for integrating third-party models. We continue to provide our team with appropriate software, hardware, training and support to develop our BIM capability.
