Huge congratulations to our colleague Marshall Dean, who has officially completed his successful two-year term as President of the Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers (AACE). Over his tenure, Marshall led the association through its historic 125th anniversary year in 2025, establishing closer ties with ICE Scotland and local universities, overseeing key governance updates, and helping raise over £7,000 for local charity Somebody Cares.

We at Ramsay & Chalmers are extremely proud of Marshall's dedication to promoting civil engineering across the region and strengthening our local professional community. As he steps into his new role as Immediate Past President of AACE and takes on the position of Secretary of the ICE Policy and External Affairs Committee, we wish him every success in continuing to champion the profession.
