A major renewable energy project at Kelvin Hall on behalf of Vital Energi. The project involved the installation of more than 1,000 roof mounted solar panels onto the building’s Category B listed barrel vaulted roof. R&C undertook detailed structural assessment of the existing historic structure to determine its suitability for the additional loading, supporting the development of bespoke mounting solutions coordinated with the existing roof geometry.
